Beginning Summer Sailing

Rush Creek Yacht Club Beginning Summer Sailing Camps are weeklong day camps open to children ages 8-16.  You do NOT have to be a member of RCYC to participate!

Camp Dates June 6th- July 29th

New sailors are strongly encouraged to attend the 1st 2 weeks (June 6th-June17th)

Rush Creek Yacht Club will provide the boats for camp. Campers must bring their own life jackets. They will also need closed toe shoes (tennis/boat shoes or crocks will work), a bathing suit, t-shirt, sunscreen, towel, hat, sunglasses, water bottles, lunch and a snack. Personal items should be marked with the camper’s name.

US Coast Guard approved life jackets must be worn while on the water and the docks. All students, regardless of age or number of years in the program, are required to take and pass a swim and life jacket test on the first day of camp.

We want all of our Summer Sail Campers to have an enjoyable and FUN summer. Our primary purpose is to provide quality instruction. To do this and have the most fun in the process, discipline must be maintained. Juniors who cannot maintain the appropriate safe and respectful conduct will be subject to dismissal from the program.

Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and must be 100% complete before a space will be reserved. This includes application, payment, and all signed release forms.
