Summer Sailing Camp

Rush Creek Yacht Club invites you to our Summer Sailing Camp! Sailors, 6-18 years of age, can choose from a wide range of programs from learn-to-sail to advanced racing training.  Youth Sailing at Rush Creek has a reputation for developing fine young skippers with emphasis on sailing in a manner that is safe, fun, and exciting.

As a parent, you have an opportunity to introduce or develop a skill that your child can use the rest of their life, improve their hand-eye coordination and balance, and build a sense of independence and self-esteem!

Our summer coaching staff is comprised of our year-round coach, Gavin Rudolph and other certified collegiate and high school sailors.

Summer Sailing Camp (For Kids 8 to 18ys)  consists of four two-week sessions in June and July. Participants will make friends in a hands-on interactive program and learn to sail a boat by themselves, basic seamanship and safe boating habits.  They will not only learn technique, but have fun trips to other parts of Lake Ray Hubbard, use of the RCYC pool and many other water related activities.

Session Schedule:  Monday – Friday    9:00am – 4:00 pm7729806462_f3859405d8_z
