About
Welcome to the Rush Creek Yacht Club website. Rush Creek is the original sailboat racing club located on Lake Ray Hubbard, in Heath, Texas. Whether you are brand new to sailing, or have extensive sailboat racing experience, Rush Creek provides organized sailboat racing for all ages and experience levels, across a wide variety of dinghy and keelboat classes.

If your goal is to win a Mid-Winter, North American, or World Championship regatta, Rush Creek is definitely the place to experience the thrill of competitive sailing toward that end. In 2008, RCYC member Paul Foerster won the North American Single-Handed Championship. In 2004 Paul and his able crew: Kevin Burnham, won the gold medal at the Athens Olympics in the 470 class! Since 1990, our club members have won the Sunfish, JY-15, Thistle, and J-22 North American Championships. In 2004, our RCYC team won U.S. Women's Sailing Championship for the Mrs. Charles Francis Adams Cup. On any given day, you will find some of the world's best sailing talent at the helm, or trimming lines, at the Rush Creek Yacht Club.

Come hone your sailing skills all year long. Each weekend and Wednesday evenings you will find organized sailboat racing at Rush Creek. You don't even need to own a boat! See our forum and calendar section for scheduled events.
